Spring is here finally!
Days are getting longer, I am feeling that a lots of energy is coming back to me after winter hibernation.
Change of season is the perfect time to cleanse! So why not trying a one day juice fasting? It will help the body to get rid of all the toxins and put your organs and digestive system to rest for a bit, and yes you will have more ENERGY….
Do be careful while fasting, you should drink between 6 to 8 fruits/vegetable fresh squeezed juices and plenty of water in which you can add a pinch of Himalayan salt for minerals and to keep hydrated. If symptoms such as headache, light headedness drink even more water.

Pregnant or nursing women or children shouldn’t try a juice fast.

People with diabetes, low blood sugar, eating disorders, kidney disease, liver disease, malnutrition, addictions, underweight, anemia, impaired immune function, infection, nutritional deficiency, low blood pressure, ulcerative colitis, cancer, terminal illness, epilepsy, or other chronic conditions shouldn’t try a juice fast or should do so only under strict medical supervision.

People shouldn’t try a juice fast before or after surgical procedures.
It is better to reduce or eliminate, before and after the fast for a few days, alcohol, coffee, tea, wheat, diary products, meat, fish, eggs…
Some recipes:
Mamita’s : Vitamins 2 oranges, 1 granny smith apples, 2 carrots, 1/2 juice of lemon
Pink Lady: Antioxydant 1 small beetroot, 1 carrot, 1 pomegranate, 1 orange
All green: Elimination- weight loss 1 cucumber, 2 granny smith apples, 2 celery sticks with leaves, 1/2 lime, 1cm of fresh ginger.
Zesty Minty: Weight loss- Circulation 1 bunch of grapes, 1 to 2 celery sticks, 1 bunch of fresh mint, 1/2 lime.
Orange: Immunity 2 oranges, 2 carrots, 1 mango, 1/2 tsp of tumeric
Pina colada: Digestion-Isotonic 1/2 to 1 pineapple, 1 cup of coconut water, 1/2 lime Fresh: Elimination- circulation 1 cucumber, 1 orange, 1 bunch of grape, 1/2 lime, 1cm of fresh ginger.
New Year’s day: vitamins-antioxydant-elimination 1 orange, 1 pomegranate, 1 cucumber, 1 celery stick, 1/2 lime, fresh ginger.
Morning glory: NRJ packed 1 pineapple, 1 cucumber, 1 apple, 1 carrot, 1 mandarine, 1 celery stick, 1 bunch of parsley, 1/2 lime, ginger.
